Paul and Joanne Stieler, owners of Showplace Cinemas, are pleased and excited to announce the upcoming addition of a Family Entertainment Center (FEC) to their Showplace Cinemas Newburgh complex.

The FEC addition to the theatre complex will occupy more than 30,000 square feet and will add more than 100 new employees. The new facility will include 20 state-of-the-art Brunswick bowling lanes, a two-story laser tag arena, a mega-arcade and redemption center and an American-themed restaurant and bar with outdoor patio seating. Eight of the 20 bowling lanes will be upscale boutique lanes and the mega-arcade will feature 60 of the newest and best video games and simulators. The Showplace Cinemas FEC is the only entertainment complex of its kind in the region where a family can spend the day watching the latest blockbuster movie, bowling on high-tech lanes, sitting down for casual dining and playing video games and laser tag!

Banquet/meeting rooms highly equipped with the latest audio/video amenities are the perfect backdrop for corporate and team building events, birthday parties, sports team celebrations, charity events and much more. A special event coordinator will assist with all party and event planning, which will assure customers a fantastic experience.

Using only the best in the industry, Brunswick for the boutique bowling experience and architectural design firm Paradigm Design for the conceptual layout, the Newburgh Family Entertainment Center will be first class through and through. FEC Complex projects a grand opening in the fall of 2017.

“Showplace Cinemas has been a leader in the local family movie theater scene for over 46 years, and I’m confident the tri-state will love this new exciting concept of entertainment” said Paul Stieler.
