Project/Work: Removal of a total of twelve (12) unsafe residential structures: eight (8) located in the City of Boonville, Boon Township, Warrick County, Indiana; one (1) located in the Town of Newburgh, Ohio Township, Warrick County, Indiana; one (1) located in Boon Township, Warrick County, Indiana; one (1) located in Hart Township, Warrick County, Indiana and one (1) located in Ohio Township, Warrick County, Indiana.

Notice is hereby given that Warrick County will receive sealed bids for the above described "Project/Work" at the office of the Warrick County Administrator, 107 W. Locust Street, Historic Courthouse, Suite 301, Boonville, Indiana, 47601 until 4:00 P.M. (local time) on July 10, 2017 and commencing as soon as practicable thereafter on the same date such bids will be publicly opened and read aloud in the Warrick County Commissioners' Meeting Room, Room 303, 107 W. Locust Street, Historic Courthouse, 3rd Floor, Boonville, Indiana 47601. No late bids will be accepted.

A Bid Bond or certified check in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount bid must be submitted with each Bid regardless of the amount of the Bid. A one hundred percent (100%) Performance and Payment Bond will also be required of the successful Bidder. All Bids must also include the completed Bid Form from the Bid Project Manual/Specifications as well as the completed non-collusion affidavit, acknowledgement of addendum( s) received and the company's financial statement attached.

The Work consists of, but is not necessarily limited to the following:

Removal of a total of twelve (12) unsafe residential structures: eight (8) located in the City of Boonville, Boon Township, Warrick County, Indiana; one (1) located in the Town of Newburgh, Ohio Township, Warrick County, Indiana; one (1) located in Boon Township, Warrick County, Indiana; one (1) located in Hart Township, Warrick County, Indiana and one (1) located in Ohio Township, Warrick County, Indiana.

Contract Documents for the Work have been assembled into one or more bound Project Manuals which may be viewed from June 22, 2017 through July 9, 2017 by appointment during general office hours at the following locations:

1. Warrick County Commissioners Office, 107 W. Locust Street, Suite 301, Boonville, Indiana, 47601. Please contact Roger Emmons, Warrick County Administrator at (812) 897-6120 to make an appointment Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00A.M. and 4:00P.M. (local time).

2. Boonville City Hall, 135 South Second Street, Boonville, Indiana 47601. Please contact Jeff Floyd, Code Enforcement Officer, at (812) 897-1230 to make an appointment Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00A.M. to 12:00 P.M. and 1:00 P.M. to 5:00P.M. (local time).

3. Newburgh City Hall, 23 W. Jennings Street, Newburgh, Indiana 47630. Please contact Christy Powell, Town Manager, at (812) 853-3578 to make an appointment Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00A.M. and 4:00P.M. (local time).

Copies of the Bid Project Manual/Specifications may be obtained at the Economic Development Coalition of Southwest Indiana, 318 Main Street, Suite 400 Evansville, Indiana 4 7708 from June 22, 2017 through July 9, 2017 between the hours of 8:00AM to 4:00PM (local time) Monday-Friday. Please contact Debbie Bennett-Stearsman at (812) 423-2020 to schedule an appointment. The cost for each specification book is $50.00. Checks should be made payable to the Economic Development Coalition of Southwest Indiana.

This Work will be funded by the County of Warrick. The participation goal for Minority/Women/Veteran Business Enterprises for this contract is 10%.

A pre-bid conference for discussion of the Work and bidding requirements will be held at 9:00A.M. (local time) on June 29, 2017 at the Warrick County Commissioners' Meeting Room, Room 303, 107 W. Locust Street, Historic Courthouse, 3rd Floor, Boonville, Indiana 47601. All prospective Bidders, including contractors and subcontractors, are strongly urged to attend the pre-bid conference.

For accommodations needed by persons with disabilities to attend the pre-bid conference or the public bid opening meeting, please contact Roger Emmons, Wrurick County Administrator at (812) 897-6120 on or before June 27, 2017. Wanick County reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities and to accept the bid which it deems most favorable to the interest of the Owner after all bids have been examined and canvassed.
