NOTICE TO BIDDERS
Notice is hereby given that the Town of Elberfeld, Indiana will accept sealed bids at the Elberfeld Town Hall, 175 Sycamore St., Elberfeld, Indiana 47613 for the 2018 CCMG Street Paving Project until 6:00 p.m. local time on Tuesday, February 19, 2019. The sealed bids will be opened during the Town Council Meeting on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at 6:00 p.m.
The project involves multiple streets at multiple locations within the town limits. The bid must be a lump sum bid for the entire project itemized for each location. A detailed project description and Instructions to Bidders are available at the office of the Elberfeld Clerk-Treasurer, Elberfeld Town Hall, 175 Sycamore St., Elberfeld, Indiana 47613.
In addition to bid requirements noted in the Instruction to Bidders, each bid shall include an executed Contractor’s Bid for Public Work – Form 96 as prescribed in the State of Accounts, an Employment Eligibility Verification Form, an Indiana Iran Investment Certification, and a completed Bid Form. In addition, bidders are required to submit with their bid a cashier’s check or bid bond made payable to the Town of Elberfeld in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of their maximum bid. A payment bond, performance bond, and certificate of insurance will also be required. The bid must be submitted in a sealed envelope addressed to the Town of Elberfeld, Elberfeld Town Hall, 175 Sycamore St., Elberfeld, Indiana 47613, clearly marked “TOWN OF ELBERFELD-2019 CCMG STREET PAVING PROJECT” and identifying the name and address of the bidder. Work shall conform to applicable Indiana Department of Transportation requirements.
Award for the project will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder by lump sum bid. The Town of Elberfeld reserves the right to reject any bid and all bids.
