WHS Pictures with the Easter Bunny

Join us for our annual pictures with the Easter Bunny by Lisa Polk Photography and Design on Saturday, March 3, from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. at Warrick Humane Society, 5722 Vann Rd., Newburgh. This event is a fundraiser and all profits from this event go to the shelter. Picture packages start at just $10. No reservations required, walk-in only.

Kitty Cats and Yoga Mats

Kitty Cats and Yoga Mats on Tuesday, March 6 at 6 p.m. at the Warrick Humane Society 5722 Vann Rd. in Newburgh. Join us for our monthly cat yoga class! Adoptable cats will be roaming the room during class. This is a beginner friendly class -- all levels welcome. Cat yoga is held the first Tuesday of each month. Registration is required and can be purchased at www.eventbrite.com. Only $12 per participant.

Red Cross Month in March

During Red Cross Month in March, the American Red Cross encourages eligible donors to join in its lifesaving mission by giving blood. Upcoming blood donation opportunity at Faith Free Will Baptist Church, 303 N. 5th St., Chandler on March 8 from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. Since 1943, every U.S. president has designated March as Red Cross Month to recognize how the Red Cross helps people across the country and around the world. Yankeetown Elementary Spring Carnival

Yankeetown Elementary will be having their Spring Carnival on Friday, March 9 from 5:30 p.m. until 8 p.m. Games, food, inflatables, cakewalk, auction, face painting, snow cones, prizes, glitter hairspray, raffles, and more! Wristbands for games and inflatables may be purchased at the door for $10. Activity Tickets are 5 for $5. New this year is a Dunking Booth giving you a chance to soak some of your favorite teachers and staff members. You get 3 chances for $1. There will be a Limited Chance Raffle for a Foosball Table donated by Escalade Sports. Raffle tickets are 50 for $10. Activity tickets, wristband and Limited Raffle presale will be before school on Wednesday, March 7, Thursday, March 8, and Friday, March 9. Each presale wristband will include a Free Combo Meal Ticket for a slice of pizza, chips and drink.

American Legion Baseball Fundraiser Spaghetti Dinner

Extension Homemakers Annual Spring District Meeting

Extension Homemakers Annual Spring District meeting on Wednesday, March 14 in the Alcoa Building at the Warrick County Fairgrounds in Boonville. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. and meeting begins at 9:30 a.m. The cost is $11 and includes morning refreshments. Lunch will be served by the Chateau of Mariah Hill and includes pork chops, potatoes, green beans, corn, salad and dessert. For information call Linda S. 812-897-5248 or 812-483-6671. Pork Chop Dinner and Basket Auction

A pork chop dinner and Basket Auction will be held at the Warrick County 4-H Center on Saturday, March 17. Carry-outs at 4:30 p.m., dinner from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m., and auction at 6:30 p.m. Dinner is $9 in advance, $10 at the door, and $3 for extra pork chop.
