Boonville Now membership meeting scheduled for Aug. 30

The brick path that will eventually lead to a giant wright iron bandstand is being laid. Boonville Now estimates the bandstand will be installed by the end of the week.

Boonville Now will be having its 2016 membership meeting Tuesday, Aug. 30 at 6:30 p.m. at the Warrick County School Corporation Central Services Building (the old Buehler’s Buy-Low).

We want to share our projects, vision and events for the remainder of the year. Thank you to those that have joined, and to those who have not, we would like to extend an invitation to this meeting and ask that you join!

This has been a very busy and productive year! 2016 is a year that residents can visually see a change in our city, but getting to this point has required endless hours from dedicated citizens, all who want the best for Boonville!

We are going into our busy part of the year. The groundwork has been laid and Boonville Now is ready for our events to be even better than before. This requires people like you!

Boonville Now needs volunteers for events that are scheduled through the end of the year. The committee chairperson for each event will be at the Aug. 30 meeting and can further explain the areas that they still need volunteers. You may also go to our website boonvillenow.org and view the calendar for events.

Boonville Now would like to include the community on our Johnson Park project and would like to extend an opportunity for you to leave your mark in history by participating in our Johnson Park Brick Campaign. Bricks will be personalized with your name or that of a loved one and installed into our brick pathway in the park. Please visit our Facebook page or website, boonvillenow.org, for more information.
