The community is invited to the annual Purdue Extension Council Meeting Thursday, Nov. 17 at 6 p.m. in the Alcoa Building at the Warrick County Fairgrounds.

According to the Purdue Extension press release, this meeting is a great opportunity to learn more about programs offered through Purdue Extension and to meet the staff.

Their guest speaker will be Shari Sherman, Warrick County Chamber of Commerce Executive Director and Bicentennial Torch Relay Coordinator. She will be recognizing the Warrick County torch bearers.

The Bicentennial Legacy Project Sponsors will also be celebrating local events.

Dinner will be served by the Warrick County Farm Bureau.There is no charge for the meal, but reservations are required by calling the Extension Office at 897-6100 or email krockhil@purdue.edu by November 9th.

The agenda also includes updates from Extension Groups and Extension Board Elections.
