Three Warrick County residents were arrested on charges related to methamphetamine Monday evening.
Warrick County Sheriff Deputies and the Chandler Police Department arrested David Lackey, 33, Jade (Stigall) Lacker, 25, and Emma King, 26, all of West Washington Street in Chandler, after executing a search warrant in relation to an investigation involving methamphetamine dealing at their residence.
During the search, officers seized 27.5 grams of methamphetamine.
At the time of the arrests, David Lackey was on supervised release for drug, firearms and battery charges. His bond has been set at $15,000, Jade Lackey’s and Emma King’s bond is set at $5,000 each.
All three were charged with dealing in methamphetamine, a Level 2 felony; possession of methamphetamine, a Level 4 felony; maintaining a common nuisance, a Level 6 felony; possession of marijuana, a Class B misdemeanor; and possession of paraphernalia, a Class C misdemeanor.
In February 2014, David Lackey and Jade (Stigall) Lackey were arrested and charged in the murder of Joseph Nelson who was found dead at Alcoa’s Warrick power plant. The two were married while in prison and later took a plea of assisting a criminal in the case. Mathew McCallister of Indianapolis was found guilty for the murder and is serving life in prison without parole.
