A Newburgh man was arrested in Missouri after an investigation led to allegations of child molestation.
James Teddleton, 21, of Newburgh, was arrested in Mississippi County, Missouri last week after the Indiana State Police conducted a several month investigation.
Teddleton is accused of sexually molesting a girl under the age of 14.
The ISP said the investigation began in March after the agency received information about the activity.
During the investigation, ISP detective Wes Kuykendall found information that showed the alleged sexual molestation took place in the later months of 2017 when the girl was younger than 14 years old.
Teddleton was charged with child molesting, a Level 1 felony, and sexual misconduct, a Level 4 felony.
According to the ISP, Teddleton was located and arrested in Missouri after the Warrick County Prosecutor's Office issued an arrest warrant for Teddleton. He will be transported back to Warrick County, but the ISP said it is not known when that will take place.
