Nyla Brantley, a 1-year-old infant from Warrick County, died on Saturday due to a severe head injury.

The Hamilton County Coroner's Office has ruled her death a homicide and both of Gold's babysitters, Samantha Burris and Richard Kennedy, both 24, have been arrested for their roles in her death.

Officially, they have been each charged with one count of neglect of a dependent resulting in serious injury, a level 3 felony.

Kennedy was already on probation for felony strangulation and misdemeanor domestic battery this past July.

Kennedy is currently still in jail, while Burris has been released on a $15,000 bond.

The Indiana State Police, along with the Mount Vernon Police Department are still investigating Brantley's death.
