Owen Ray Barnhill, 81, of Boonville, passed away on Monday, Nov. 20, 2017, at Brookdale in Evansville.

Owen was born on Aug. 25, 1936, in Boonville, to the late Owen and Hazel (Roedel) Barnhill.

He retired from UPS after 30 years of service. Owen loved riding his Harley Davidson. He also enjoyed watching Nascar, IU basketball, and Cardinals baseball. He was an avid fan of Jeff Gordon and Tony Stewart. Owen was a member of the Southside Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by his parents; infant son, Stanley Ray; sister, Jeane Bullock.

Owen is survived by Marlene Hollowell; children, Randy Barnhill of Orlando, FL; Larry Barnhill and his wife, Malissa of Evansville; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 2, 2017, at the Koehler Funeral Home in Boonville with Pastor Jack Neighbors officiating. Burial will be at Maple Grove Cemetery in Boonville, Indiana.

Visitation will be 2 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 1, 2017 at the funeral home and from 9 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Warrick County Humane Society.
