Shirdon Dale "Pee Wee" Stepro, 79, of Boonville, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 2, 2017, at Select Specialty Hospital in Evansville.

Shirdon was born on July 10, 1938 in Yankeetown, to the late Richard Shirdon and Lula Helen (House) Stepro.

Pee Wee worked for Roger Sullivan at Warehouse Furniture Store for many years. He retired as a maintenance man from the school corporation after 25 years of service. He loved hunting, fishing, and camping.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Anna May Stepro in July of 2017; parents; siblings, Leland Ezra Stepro, Betty Elizabeth Ghormley.

Pee Wee is survived by his children, Shirdon J. Stepro and his wife, Teresa of Boonville; Tonya Stepro of Boonville; grandchildren, Cody Stepro, Shirdon Ray Stepro, Christina Myers, Charles Dale Stepro; six great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; siblings, Robert Stepro, Jerry Stepro, Charles Ray Stepro, Nelson Wayne Stepro, Ruth Ann Brickey; several nieces and nephews.

Services were held at 12 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 6, 2017, at the Koehler Funeral Home in Boonville with Pastor Don Cavins officiating. Burial was at Maple Grove Cemetery in Boonville.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
