Walter “Keith” Goad, 72, of Boonville, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 2, 2018 at St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville.

Keith was born in Boonville on Sept. 24, 1945 to the late Walter and Mae (Hart) Goad.

Keith served in the United States Army. He had been in the banking industry for over 45 years working with Warrick National and Old National Bank. He was an active member and Deacon at Mt. Gilead General Baptist Church. He was also active with the Mt. Gilead Lighthouse Society and was on the board of Studio Bee Community Youth Center.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Cecelia Saltzman.

Keith is survived by his wife, Diana Goad of Boonville; children, Jason Goad and his wife, Monica of Newburgh; Heather Ryan and her husband, Will of Atlanta, Ga.; grandchildren, Gillian and Amelia Goad; niece, Chris Griggs; nephews, Alan and Daryl Saltzman; many extended family and friends.

Services are 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 7, 2018 at Koehler Funeral Home in Boonville, with Rev. John Swain and Rev. Bill Tennyson officiating. Burial is in Freedom Cemetery in Boonville.

Visitation is from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 6, 2018 and from 9 a.m. until the time of service Friday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Mt. Gilead General Baptist Church and Studio Bee Community Youth Center.
