Lynnville resident Michael Kenten Rush passed away Dec. 7 in Texas. He was 60.

He was preceded in death by his father, Leon Rush; a niece, Misti Laskowitz; and a nephew, Denny Howell.

Michael is survived by his wife of 41 years, Karen Ann (Robertson) Rush; a son, Lee Rush and his wife, Katherine; a daughter, Sally Peter and her husband, Matt; three grandchildren, Sydney and Dylan Rush and Riley Peter; his mother, Doris Rush; two sisters, Marsha Susott and her husband, Steve, and Rhonda Laskowitz and her husband, Ray; and many nieces and nephews.

Michael was a life member and Habitat Partner of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, a life member of NRA, a member of Ducks Unlimited, Delta Waterfowl, Sons of American Legion Post 200 and a member of Mackey Church of the Nazarene.

Funeral services were held Saturday, Dec. 17 at Mackey Church of the Nazarene. Interment followed in Zion United Church of Christ Cemetery. Pemberton-Bradley Funeral Home assisted the family.
