Kim Leanne (Utzman) Dohoney, 60, of Santa Claus, Ind., went home to be with the Lord, her heavenly father, on Oct. 2, 2017.

Kim was born on Jan. 22, 1957 in Evansville, Ind., to the late Floyd and Elfreda (Murray) Utzman.

On April 14, 1973, she married her best friend, Lonnie Dohoney. Kim loved the Lord, her husband, children, grandchildren, and sisters very strongly and without reservation. She loved to read her bible, be with her grandchildren, and travel.

She is preceded in death by her parents, brother-in-law, David Postin; niece, Dusti Postin; in-laws, G.T. Dohoney; Paul and Marjorie Lehr.

Kim is survived by her husband, eight children, Kimberly Pearson, Brandy Dohoney, J.D. Dohoney, Amy Dohoney, Austin Dohoney, all of Santa Claus, Ind.; Sharli (Josh) Woody of Bedford, Ind.; Cody Dohoney of Tell City, Ind.; Amanda Dohoney of Jasper, Ind.; six grandchildren, Dallas and Spencer Buse of Santa Claus, Ind.; Blain and Gavin Woody of Bedford, Ind.; Emi and Kya Dohoney of San Diego, Cali., four sisters, Karen Postin of Tennyson, Ind.; Kay (Glenn) Lambert of Lewisport, Ky.; Beverly (Ron) Boink of Newburgh, Ind.; Nancy (David) Phillips; many nieces and nephews.

Services were held at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 6, 2017, at the Koehler Funeral Home in Boonville, Ind., with the Revs David Phillips and Marvin Greene officiating. Burial was at Garrison Chapel Cemetery in Gentryville, Indiana.

Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to help with the funeral expense.
