Low impact exercise classescan improve lives of seniors

We all know that exercise is good for us. Physically and mentally it makes us stronger, but often doing it is not so easy. I am a woman of a particular age and size and I find it difficult. Asthma, fibromyalgia and arthritis make it harder, but I knew I needed to move.

Last year, I heard of a class that is tailored especially for mature women. Now I'm getting the benefits of moving with less pain and also enjoying the company of other ladies as we talk, laugh and groan our way through the exercises. We all go at our own pace and ability. I do most of the steps sitting or standing, some use mats for floor exercises.

It's been well worth it to me to be able to move and sleep with less pain. None of us are trying to be bikini ready, just strong and more agile. I rightly recommend giving low impact classes a try. It might improve your life as it has mine.
