The Tecumseh Braves would see their season come to an end in the same way last season would end. As in 2017, the Braves would lose to North Central by the score of 57-0.

The only difference being last year's game was played at North Central's stadium while this year's game was played at Lynnvillle.

"I thought we played very well defensively in the first quarter," Braves coach Jeff Daming said. "We had two opportunities offensively with pretty good field position but were unable to unable to come away with points. I felt North Central played very well defensively. Their linebackers were aggressive. Overall I was pleased with our kids all season. We had several kids step up into starting roles as our seniors and were solid leaders for us."

Looking ahead for the Braves, they will be losing a total of nine seniors including running back Weston Stamps and defensive end Spencer Buse.

For the sixth-ranked North Central Thunderbirds, they will advance to the sectional finals where they will play West Washington. While unranked, West Washington has an impressive 9-2 record and has received votes for the AP top 10.
