BHS Class of 1969 Reunion

The Boonville High School Class of 1969 50th Class Reunion will be held Saturday, Sept. 28 at American Legion, 1021 E. Main St., Boonville. 2019 Thrift Store Prom

The 2019 Thrift Store Prom, a fundraiser for Warrick County Sheriff Office K9 Unit will be held Saturday, Sept. 14 from 5 p.m. until 3 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 15 at Warrick FOP, 300 Owensboro Rd., in Boonville. Tickets are $25 per person and includes meal. Lord's Acre Dinner and Auction

Old Friendship Church is having a Lord's Acre Dinner and Auction on Saturday, Aug. 10. The dinner will start at 4 p.m. and the auction will start at 6 p.m. There will also be a country store, a bouncy house and a clown doing balloon animals for the children. Some of the items for auction include handmade quilts, handmade wood items, Reds tickets, Cardinals tickets and much more. There will be a 50 inch 4k TV given away at the end of the auction. Mother to Mother Fall/Winter Consignment Sale

St. John Mother to Mother Ministry Children's Consignment Sale Saturday, Aug. 17 from 8 a.m. until 12 p.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic School, 725 Frame Rd., Newburgh. Closed from 10:30 a.m. until 11 a.m. After 11 am, selected items are half price. Admission is $1. No children under 12 are permitted in the sale except newborns in soft carriers or slings. No infants in car seats and no strollers will be permitted to enter the day of the sale. Featuring hundreds of gently used high quality Fall and Winter items for children and maternity items! Our sale is a not-for-profit sale. We are a moms' ministry providing a service to those selling and purchasing gently used children and maternity items. The proceeds from the sale go to supporting our ministry as well as other family-centered ministries including: Birthright, Holly's House, Pregnancy Resource Center, Habitat for Humanity, Make a Wish Foundation, Newburgh Food Pantry, The Marion Outreach Education Center, Inspiring Autism Spectrum Families, and many others.

Free Family Fun Day

Hemenway Church is hosting Free Family Fun Day on Saturday, Aug. 17 from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. at 124 E. Sycamore St., Boonville. Have a fun and free afternoon of food, games, prizes and community fellowship. Children's carnival games with prizes, vendor booths, rock painting, inflatables, face painting, balloon animals, and give-a-ways every 30 minutes. Free Papa Johns Pizza and drinks. DJ music outside and live band music inside. Silent auction with themed baskets, gift certificates, gift cards, tickets to area attractions and much more. For every canned good or non-perishable food item brought in to donate to the area food pantry, you will be entered into a drawing for two Holiday World tickets. Bonus tickets can be earned by bringing in sugar, flour, vegetable oil, jelly or peanut butter. All are welcome!
