13th Annual 'BEElieve' Dinner Auction

Studio Bee Community Youth Center's 13th Annual "BEElieve" Dinner Auction is Friday, May 10, 2019. Doors open and silent auction begins at 5 p.m., dinner at 6 p.m. and live auction activities are at 7 p.m. Event takes place at 120 Flint Street in Boonville. All proceeds benefit Studio Bee.

Scratch & Sniff Scavenger Hunt

Scratch & Sniff Scavenger Hunt, hosted by Warrick Humane Society, Warrick Animal Guardians, and The Wine Down, is Saturday, May 11. Registration starts at 9 a.m. at Warrick County Animal Control, 599 Roth Rd., Boonville, and the hunt begins at 10 a.m. The hunt ends at 12:30 p.m. at The Wine Down, 8666 Ruffian Lane, Newburgh. Children are welcome to attend the hunt for free, but The Wine Down is a 21 and over establishment. Cost is $25. Teams of three or more are $20. All paying participants will receive an event T-shirt. Book Lovers, A Reader's Discussion Group

Book Lovers, A Reader's Discussion Group on Sunday, May 12, from 2 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. in the Emerald Room at the Bell Road Library, 4111 Lakeshore Dr., Newburgh. This is an open book discussion for anyone over the age of 18. Our discussions are lively and thoughtful. We are looking for new participants to add to the conversation! Gardening Lunch & Learn

Gardening Lunch & Learn on Wednesday, May 15 from 12 p.m. until 1 p.m. in the Diamond Room at Bell Road Library, 4111 Lakeshore Dr., Newburgh. Bring your lunch and eat while Amanda Mosiman, Warrick Co. Purdue Extension Educator, discusses vegetable gardening and answers your gardening questions. The library will supply drinks and dessert. Used Book Sale

The Friends of the Newburgh Chandler Public Library will sponsor a used book sale at the Bell Road Library located near the intersection of Hwy. 66 and Bell Road in Newburgh on May 16 through May. A preview sale for members of the Friends will be from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, May 16. Extended hours open to the public include Friday, May 17 and Saturday, May 18 from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Sunday, May 19 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Friends book bags may be purchased for $10 then filled for an additional $8. If you already have a Friends book bag, bring it and fill it for $8. The proceeds from the sale are used to provide educational programs and other support for the Bell Road, Chandler and downtown Newburgh Libraries in Warrick County. You can also help the NCPL Friends by donating gently used books at any NCPL branch. Just mark your donations "Friends Book Sale." NO magazines, VHS tapes or encyclopedias, please. Lynnville High School Alumni Banquet

The annual Lynnville High School Alumni Banquet will be held on Saturday, May 18 in the Lynnville Community Center. The doors will open at 4 p.m., a catered meal will be served at 6 p.m., and a business meeting will begin at 7 p.m. The graduating class of 1959 (60 years) will be honored.
