New Hope celebrates 10 years

Chill on the Hill is one of New Hope's annual events that brings in people from all across the area.

It’s been 10 years since New Hope Community Church was founded.

This Sunday, the church is inviting the public to celebrate the anniversary.

The church was founded in 2006 in Chandler, before moving to its current location on Vann Road in 2010.

Pastor Jason Davis said the day marks a special time for the church members and the community.

Founding pastors Dan Gross and Jeff Bunning will also be present to share in the celebration.

The service will be at 10 a.m. with a lunch following.

The public is invited to take part in the food, music and companionship.

Ever since its small beginnings in Chandler, New Hope Community Church has remained a constant in the community by hosting annual events, such as its Halloween Bash and Easter celebrations.

Davis said while there are many Chandler residents that are members of the church, the move to the Newburgh area allowed the church to bring in more people from around the area.
