Sen. Vaneeta Becker (R-Evansville) is taking action to quarantine after being exposed to another individual who tested positive for COVID-19.

According to a statement from the Senate Majority Communications Office released on Monday, Jan. 11, Becker had a close contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19 while she was away from the Statehouse. The statement notes that Becker has had no contact with any members of the General Assembly or General Assembly staff since she was exposed.

According to the statement, Becker will quarantine at home per CDC guidelines and will be tested for COVID-19.
