Tennyson Tigerbots final competition Saturday

The Tennyson Elementary robotics teams (“Tigerbots A” & “Tigerbots B”) recently competed in two area Vex IQ robotics competitions. On Jan. 18, both teams competed at Lincoln Trail Elementary School in Lamar, Indiana. Out of 27 teams, Tigerbots A made it to the finals and earned the Judge’s Award for being helpful and having a positive attitude. Both teams were in the top 12 most of the day. On Jan. 25, both teams competed at Newburgh Elementary School. Tigerbots A was in the top 12 (out of 36 teams) for most of the day. They also earned the Sportsmanship Award. Their final competition will take place at William Tell Elementary School in Tell City on Saturday, Feb. 8. Tigerbots are coached by Maria Scherle and Holly Beard. This is the third year Tennyson Elementary School has had a robotics team.
