WARRICK COUNTY — The Evansville Police Department and the Warrick County Sheriff’s Department are conducting a joint investigation in the two counties to find the driver of a 1999-2006 GMC Yukon.

The vehicle has been spotted in both areas and is believed to have some connection to Kentucky. So far the vehicle has been involved in multiple trailer thefts.

The suspect driving the vehicle has been described as a white male that is often shirtless and wearing a ski mask. The suspect has struck during both the day and night. The vehicle has a basketball sized dent on the rear passenger side split door. The vehicle has also been photographed with both factory stock and aftermarket rims and wheels. For now the EPD and WCSD advise keeping all trailers secured. Owners might also consider attaching a low cost GPS tracking device to any trailers.

Citizens with information about the vehicle can contact the EPD Auto Theft Unit at 812-436-7967 or 812-436-7991. They can also email EPD_Autotheft@evansvillepolice.com or Anonymous WETIP at 812-435-6194.
