NEWBURGH, Ind. — Jerry Ruth Lutz, 91, of Newburgh, Ind., passed away Saturday, July 23, 2022, at her home surrounded by her family.

Jerry was born in Boonville, Ind., on Dec. 16, 1930, to the late Hilbert Lee Martin and Beulah Maxine (Wilson) Martin.

She retired from Evansville Rehabilitation Center in 1995. She was a member of Covent Fellowship Church in Newburgh, Ind. Jerry was a member of the Pleasant Hill Home Economics Club and a Pink Lady at Warrick Hospital. She attended the praying grandmas at Boon Square Apartments.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Kenneth Martin and Tommy Martin.

Jerry is survived by her children, Susie Montgomery and her husband, Terry of Yankeetown, Ind., Teena McDaniel and her husband, David of Yankeetown, Ind., Natalie Holder and her husband, Royce of Chandler, Ind., Michael Lee Lutz and his wife, Jessie of Evansville, Ind., and Jimmy Lutz and his wife, Lynn of Boonville, Ind.; siblings, Jane Hart and her husband, Ron of Rockport, Ind.; her 20 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; 17 great-great-grandchildren, and four more on the way; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 30, 2022, at Koehler Funeral Home in Boonville, Ind., with Pastor Phil Elikofer officiating. Burial will be at Bates Hill Cemetery in Yankeetown, Ind.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Friday, July 29, 2022, and again from 9 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday at the funeral home.

Memorial Contributions may be made to Covent Fellowship Church in Yankeetown, Ind.
