Gary B. Richmond

Gary B. Richmond, 83, of Bonita Springs, Florida (former resident of Newburgh, Indiana), passed away on Saturday, July 17, 2021 in Evansville, Indiana. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio on January 19, 1938 to the late Carl and Ethelyn Richmond.

He was Vice President of manufacturing for Cresline Plastic Pipe Company for over 35 years.

Gary was a dedicated and loving family man with a kind and gentle soul, providing a firm foundation and legacy for his children, grandchildren, and great grandchild. He enjoyed family traditions, holidays, and family vacations. Gary always enjoyed spending time with his friends, playing golf and bocce. His hobbies included fishing in the lake outside his home as well as deep sea fishing.

He is survived by his loving wife, Diane Richmond, of 60 cherished years. Surviving family members include daughters, Rene’(Duane) Freudenberg, Richelle/Ricki (Lynn) Ashkettle; grandchildren, Richmond (Dakota) Freudenberg, Alexandra/Lexi (Ethan) Vannarsdall, Griffin Freudenberg, Logan (Elise) Ashkettle, Graham (Clairissa) Ashkettle, Grace Ashkettle; and great grandson, Ridge Freudenberg.

Much thanks and gratitude are extended to Susan Stoltz and Pam Richmond Ehren.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Parkinson’s foundation and the United Methodist Church.

The family would like to thank the entire staff of Heritage Hospice, Heritage Skilled, and Holiday Village in their support and diligence in the care of the family.
