Guy Marty Rudolph, 55, passed unexpectedly at his home in Boonville, IN on Wednesday, Feb. 24. Marty was born to Miles and Mary Ileen Rudolph on Dec. 25, 1965 in Evansville.

Marty graduated from Boonville High School in 1984. Afterwards, he joined the Army and then worked as a landscaper. He spent the last several years as a caregiver for his recently deceased father. He was an avid fisherman, an Indiana Pacers basketball fan, and he loved rock and roll music. He was a lover of nature and all animals.

He was preceded in death by both parents and his younger brother, Robin Rudolph.

He is survived by siblings Miles, Angela and Eric Rudolph; along with four nieces, Melanie, Carrie, Kenzie and Emily; a nephew, John; several great nieces and nephews; many cousins; long-time friend, Scott Braner; and his cat, Champ.

Marty was known for his unique sense of humor, abundant kindness and reliability. He was a big man standing at 6’5”, but his heart of gold was even bigger.

Marty will be cremated, and a Celebration of Life will take place at a later date. Koehler Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
