CHANDLER — Linda Sue Johnson, 78, of Chandler, Ind., passed away Friday, Feb. 17, 2023, at the Heart to Heart Inpatient in Evansville, Ind.
She was born July 16, 1944 in Lynnville, Ind., to the late Harley and Selma (Julian) Johnson.
Linda was a passionate woman of her faith. She devoted her life to the Gospel and to her church, Faith General Baptist in Boonville, Ind., of which she was a member.
She is survived by her sons, Robert McNeely (Colette) and Jimmy McNeely (Stephanie); her grandchildren, Rory McNeely, Ashley Masterson (Matt), Jimmy McNeely Jr., Dustin McNeely, Ayrie McNeely, Kurby McNeely and Ryan McNeely; her great-grandchildren, Ameliya and Liam; as well as her brothers, Harold Johnson of Bakersfield, Calif., and Ray Johnson of Evansville, Ind.
Linda is preceded in death by her parents; as well as her sisters, Beulah Hay, Delores McKinney and a baby sister.
Visitation was Tuesday, Feb. 21, at Koehler Funeral Home in Boonville, Ind. Evening services were officiated by Pr. Ray Yonce.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Heart to Heart Hospice in Linda’s name.
