Bertie Ann (Crowe) Morton, 81, of Boonville, Indiana passed away in her sleep on Friday, July 30, 2021 at Transcendent North.

She was born in Manitou, Kentucky on May 14, 1940 to the late David Cosby and Stella Mae (Thompkins) Crowe.

Bertie graduated from Nebo High School in 1958. She attended Murray State University and then worked at Welborn Clinic in Evansville where she met her future husband, Jack. They were married on July 14, 1968 in Manitou Baptist Church. They lived in Spurgeon, Indiana until 1979 and then moved to Boonville.

She is preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Amy Michelle Morton.

Bertie is survived by her husband, of 53 years, Jack Morton; children, Jodi Meuser (Marvin), Vicky Harris (Scott), Dayne Morton (Meisha), and Roger Morton (Arlena); grandson Cory Morton (Jennifer); 8 other grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren.

Friends called from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at Koehler Funeral Home, Boonville, IN 47601. Visitation was held on Wednesday, August 4, 2021 from 9 a.m. until service time.

Services were held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, August, 4, 2021 at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Spurgeon Cemetery.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Transcendent North for their loving care of Bertie.
