Bob Greder

Bob Greder

Chandler, IN. — Robert “Bob” Gerard Greder, 62, of Chandler, Indiana, passed away unexpectedly on June 5, 2020 at his home in Chandler, Indiana.

Bob was born in Evansville, Indiana on May 21, 1958 to Rita Isabelle (Angermeier) Greder and the late Kenneth Greder.

He married his lifetime partner when he was just 17 and she was only 15. They have been married for 44 years despite the clergy predicting it would not last a year. When he was not at work on his forklift, or with family, he was with “the other woman” — his fishing boat! Bob was first and foremost an outstanding Christian but was also known as a “bad ass”. Seen as a forever outdoorsman, jack of all trades & master of none, and a Mr. Fix It who could build anything on a whim. Bob enjoyed hunting, four wheeling, woodworking and of course fishing on his boat.

Bob is survived by his wife of 44 years, Donna Sue Greder; four children, Angela Felty, Thomas Greder (Pam), Joshua Greder, David Greder (Katie); grandchildren, Matthew and Kacey Felty, Kalynn Greder; great grandchildren, Braxton Walker; siblings, Janet Carr (Jeff) and Jeff Greder (Lisa); and many nieces and nephews. He will be missed greatly by many.

A Celebration of Life gathering was held on Wednesday, June 10, 2020 at Koehler Funeral Home, Perigo Chapel in Chandler, Indiana.

The family request in lieu of flowers, that memorial contributions be made to the family to assist with expenses.

Friends unable to attend may send a condolence to the family at www.KoehlerFuneralHome.com
