BOONVILLE, Ind. — Delila (Jodi) Gentry, 76, of Boonville, Indiana passed away on Friday, Jan. 1, 2021 at her home in Boonville.

Delila was born in Warrick County, Indiana on Dec. 9, 1944 to the late William F. Kolley and Bertha (Brammer) Kolley.

Delila was a 1962 graduate of Millersburg High School and also the class valedictorian. She had been the director of the Council on Aging and retired from Boonville Medical Sales after many years of service.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Robert “Bob” Gentry in 2004.

Delila is survived by her children, Debbie Derrington of Boonville, IN; Paula Lewis of Boonville, IN; Step-son, Keith Gentry and his wife, Carlene of Kenbridge, VA; Grandchildren, Vanessa Cormier, Valerie Evans and her husband, Kenny, Eric Evans, Robby Derrington and his wife, Kerry, Andrew Evans and his wife, Liz, and Ty Derrington and his wife, Jessica; Great-grandchildren, Zoey, Bailey, Hunter, Bradalynn, Cambria, Kenzie, Leah, Ivan, and Nolan; Brother, William C. Kolley.

Services are 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 8, 2021 at Koehler Funeral Home in Boonville, Indiana with Pastor Gilbert Bender officiating. Burial will be held at Freedom Cemetery in Boonville, Indiana at a later date.

Visitation is from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 8, 2021 at the funeral home in Boonville.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Warrick County Council on Aging.
