Louis “Spook” Leland Roth, 62, of Tennyson, passed away on Sunday, May 5, 2019.

Louis was born in Kansas City, Kan., on Feb. 23, 1957 to the late Woodrow Wilkey and Delene (Bays) Roth.

He served in the United States Army and was a lifetime member of the V.F.W. Post 3418. He retired after 30 years of service with the Laborers Union #561. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and finding “treasures”.

He is preceded in death by his parents; aunt, Florence Davis; siblings, Virtus D. Roth, David R. Roth.

Louis is survived by his children, Shawn Roth and his wife, Angela of Newburgh; Lila Roth and her wife, Maria of Chandler; siblings, Lisa Ann Doughty of Newburgh; Rosemary Belcher of Tenn.; Linda Roth of Evansville; Beverly Bolin of Chrisney; companion, Kara Venson of Boonville; best bud, Scoobie; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at Koehler Funeral Home in Boonville.

A celebration of life will follow after the visitation at the V.F.W. in Boonville.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Boonville V.F.W. Post 3418.
