Boonville, IN. — Gregory L. Wasson, 72, of Boonville passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 15, 2021, at Woodmont Health Campus in Boonville.

Greg was born in Evansville on Dec. 24, 1948, to the late Wilbur and Irene (Sarver) Wasson.

Greg graduated from Boonville High School. He graduated from the Kelly School of Business at Indiana University. Greg was a locally well-known appraiser and real estate agent. He owned Wasson Pioneer Realty. He always had a story or two to tell and loved to argue politics.

Greg is survived by his wife of 25 years, Tamela Wasson; children, Mariah Wasson and her husband, Spencer Jones of Princeton, Ind.; Laura Wasson of Lutz, Fla.; Matthew Wasson and his wife, Janelle, of Fishers; sister, Jann Allen and her husband, Ray, of Chandler; brother-in-law, Tom Roth of Boonville; his grandchildren, Emma Wasson, Bralyn and Ellie Wasson; several nieces and nephews; and special friend, David Batts.

Services were held Sunday, Dec. 19, at Koehler Funeral Home, Perigo Chapel in Chandler with David Batts officiating. The Warrick County Veterans Memorial Services will conduct military honors.

Visitation was held Sunday, Dec. 19, at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Gregory L. Wasson Boonville High School Business Scholarship Fund through the Warrick County Community Foundation, PO Box 876, Newburgh, Indiana 47629.
