Carol R. Green, 77, of Boonville, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2019 at her home.

Carol was born in Warrick County on Dec. 18, 1941 to the late Herbert John and Mary Esther (Mitchem) Arend.

She was a very caring wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a huge supporter of Boonville sports and loved animals. Carol was a long time member of Baker Chapel United Methodist Church in Boonville. She was well known for her cooking, especially her pies.

Carol is survived by her husband of 60 years, Gene Green of Boonville; children, Terry Roedel and her husband, Larry of Evansville; Greg Green and his wife, Tracie of Tennyson; Kevin Green and his wife, Jennifer of Boonville; Krystal Powless and her husband, Tad of Boonville; grandchildren, Alisha Valentine and her husband, Spencer of Indianapolis; Kara Forbes and her husband, Matt of Horse Cave, Ky.; Tyler Green (Ally Arendell) of Boonville; Dalton Spaulding and his wife, Kaylee of Tennyson; Jacob Green and his wife, Karisa of Boonville; Erin Steele and her husband, Brett of Connersville, Ind.; Kaci Powless of Indianapolis; Katelyn Cron and her husband, Logan of Boonville; Karley Powless of Boonville; great-grandchildren, Finn, Millie, Brynlea, Jace, Carson, Cayden, Wesley, Riley, Isaac, Aubrey; sister, Evelyn Roeder and her husband, Albert of Hopkinsville; several nieces and nephews.

Services will be 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 13, 2019 at Koehler Funeral Home in Boonville with Pastor Randy Moore officiating. Burial will be at Maple Grove Cemetery in Boonville.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 12, 2019 and from 9 a.m. until the time of service on Tuesday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made the Riley Children’s Hospital or to Baker Chapel United Methodist Church.
